Shanil Samarasinghe, Director
Prior to establishing SHS Consulting, Shanil spent 2 years at Lehman Brothers (2006-2008) as a risk manager focusing on the development and implementation of equity derivatives margining for Hedge Fund clients. He spent 3 years at Deutsche Bank [2003-2006] where he held various equity risk management and front office positions.

Shanil graduated from the London School of Economics where he first read Economics and then completed his masters in Management and the Regulation of Risk. He is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals and holds their Financial Risk Management qualification.

Flemming Bengtsen, Director
Flemming Bengtsen has over 10 years of experience in Financial Markets. He has worked for UBS and UBS O'Connor as a Market Risk Officer (1999-2002). He has risk managed a wide range of asset classes from Proprietary Trading books for UBS O'Connor and Deutsche Asset Management, Capital Structure Arbitrage, Convertible Arbitrage & CPPI at Nomura to Private Equity, Mezzanine Financing and Emerging Market Bonds.

He read philosophy at King's College London and is Managing Director of Berliv Ltd and Marmot Trading Ltd.
